Our new cap badges arrived tonight, and they are spectacular!
They can be purchased by the general public as a souvenir and to support the band!
We will have many on us for sale at our Robbie Burns event in January!
Our Pipe Major attended the 2A Community Band practice tonight, as we will be joining them for their Christmas Concert in Didsbury next Monday night, and they will be joining us at our Robbie Burns event in January.

We are expecting to have the Airdrie Scots Pipes and Drums performing 2 sets. We are also expecting Highland Dancers, Scottish Country Dancers and Canadian Step dancers to perform.
As well, we will have our Roast Beef dinner and Haggis.

We sat down and selected a new set of marches for the upcoming parade season. We will keep last year’s tunes in our back pocket, but you can expect to hear new music out of us this year!

The Airdrie Gaelic Society is happy to announce that we have booked our venue for the 21st of January 2018 to hold our 4th Annual Robbie Burns dinner and show.
This year, we are expecting performances from:


In addition, we will once again be having a Roast Beef dinner, with roasted potatoes, cooked veggies, salad, rolls, dessert.
You can buy a ticket to indicate your intent to attend, and the purchase price of this intent ticket will be applied against your final ticket. As well, this intent ticket locks in your Early Bird pricing. You will also be eligible for all other specials we offer during the ticket sales period.
The Airdrie Gaelic Society (AGS) will be hosting an open house with the Airdrie Scots Pipes and Drums (ASPD) on June 25th. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at playing the Bass drum, tenor drums or snare drum. You can also try playing a practice chanter.
The ASPD is open to anyone interested in Piping or Drumming. We can help you set up lessons if you don’t know how to play or want to improve; Those that know how to play are welcome to join the band. Membership in the ASPD requires membership in the AGS.
After the Open House, the AGS will be hosting a BBQ for members. We ask our members to RSVP so that we know how many people to prepare for. Members please add yourself to our Facebook event, or email treasurer@airdriescots.ca
